Don't mess with this four-and-a-half-year-old... :) She's a lean machine on her bike these days, tearing down hills and grunting up them. Sitting is not for Kans; according to her, wagons are made to stand in. A rock wall is a balance beam (hence the scrape as seen above). A slide is something to power up. I love watching Anika's face as she takes on a challenge--fierce, determined, and joyful all at the same time.
"Mom, change it to BLAST so I can BLAST my face!" (Anika's request for a change from the "shower" mode on the hose.)

Yay for Nau pictures to look at!! Anika is too much. She reminds me so much of you as a kid... That last picture...All I can think of is how much Bubby would HATE being blasted by the hose! I will have to show him how brave his "sweety" is. :)
